**ADD PARAFFIN WAX to your massage for $10 (hands or feet) - just make note in "reason for visit" section while booking or you can add it at the time of your appointment.
Paraffin wax is a soft wax with a low melting point, melting at a temperature cool enough to safely immerse skin. The wax treatment acts as a thermotherapy, that increases blood flow, relaxes muscles, and reduces stiffness and pain in joints.
Its therapeutic benefits are soothing for conditions like osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia. It also reduces swelling by lowering fluid retention and flushing toxins. Paraffin wax can also help with minimizing muscle spasms and inflammation, and to treat sprains, strains, tendonitis and bursitis. Treatments open pores and remove dead skin cells, rejuvenating skin and making it feel silky and smooth. It is a natural emollient so it adds moisture to the skin and it creates a barrier on your skin that helps retain the oils that your body naturally produces. Due to its effects on the skin, paraffin wax can also soften hardened skin caused by scleroderma, by increasing the skin's elasticity, allowing for improved movement and mobility.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: You should avoid using paraffin wax if you have poor blood circulation, if you have numbness in your hands or feet, if you're diabetic or if you have any rashes or open sores.
